Gaskets, Packings & Seals is proud to present the Garlock® Edge™ metallic gasket. The Edge™ gasket helps eliminate radial buckling which occurs when the ID of a spiral wound gasket protrudes into the process stream. The winding material can be carried down stream clogging pumps, valves and other equipment. Radial buckling can also create a loss of torque on a bolted flange assembly, causing leakage or unscheduled maintenance. 
*Notice the relief ports in the outer guide ring. This additional area between the windings and outer ring helps control the sealing element flow. |
